I posted this on the PTRA board:
We will run at Mooresville this Saturday from about 12:30 til 5. Weather is still looking good. The track was killer last week. Ya'll come on out.
We are hard at work on the top end, extending the run off. We will have another 1/8th mile of stopping distance after this project is done. About half of that will be paved, the other being pit gravel and a much better sand trap. I have stepped in my share of G.W. Leazer's cow piles this week, putting up new fence to make room for our project. Can't wait for everyone to see it finished. We have a crew of five keeping busy making this happen. Myself, Jody, Mike Teeter, Raymond and G.W. himself, along with a few others are very dedicated to this project and this track. Hey Raymond, how tired are you after today......I think you are the only one that didn't step in a pile.

Those railroad ties just about did me in. Cow crossings, barbed wire, posts, and lots of dirt. The last hour on the front end loader in the dark was fun too. Couldn't hardly see the sand pile. Can't wait til it is all done. Then on to another big project. Let's keep it going. Tommy, Raymond can get busy when he wants too. Just ask him.
