I have noticed that all the racers at mooresville have some form of door panel, usually just a skin of aluminum, on the interior of their cars. Is this a requirement?

No it is not a requirement. But, in a hatch style car, such as a Mustang or Monza, there should be a firewall between the rear of the car where the fuel cell is and the driver, unless the fuel cell is recessed with its own cover. The door panels are nice to keep all sharp edges covered. I would recommend it.

If the weather cooperates, we will try to start the first Saturday in February. We still may have a few projects going on but should be able run a test and tune.
